I would have to say 80-90% of the warriors that I personally have run into are either morons or a huge liability (not all, only the ones I've run into).

actually the majority of warriors ... I have only met about 10 in 2 months ... thats a majority ... maybe I'm looking in the wrong area, is there another continent I am unaware of. A warrior is an eas'ier' profession to play, but you can actually play different side then the point and shoot. Many noobs are unaware of this unfortunately ...

actually i am very secure which is why i want a wager with you

As a former W/mes I can say I saw a lot of characters played incorrectly but for the most part it was the W/Mo that thought they were indestructible that caused the majority of the problems. That is not to say I haven't seen a fair amount of other classes also thinking they are gods gift to the group.

very true my friend very very true

it just happens that a warriors mistakes are usuall deaddly to all while a casters is not.

that is why it is a huge risk to have one you do not know on your team

I'm a warrior and i know not to rush into hordes of enemies, how to pull, how to wait for casters mana to recharge.
I think it's most people that are morons, not just the warriors.

Just the other day we had an elementalist in Elona tell us that we had to run through the horde of minotaurs at the beginning and not to fight any of them.
After running to a dead end and dying from thirty minotaurs beating on him, he started calling us retards for not following him and logged out. wtf???

Anyway, i've seen every class rush ahead, not listen, and do stupid crap equally.
So don't assume every warrior you meet is an idiot =)

exactly, there are good and bad players in every class, i still remember when game first launched(not the beta things, unfortunately eb had'nt given me my cd key yet) i couldnt find groups because i was a necro, and everyone was saying at the time they were completely broken and worthless, so i got just about everything done only with henches , my point is just because there are stereotypes about classes, it doesnt by any means make it true

I've been in quite a few PuGs (nearly all of which were very good) and have never seen a warrior behave in a stupid manner. I've seen a couple of elementalists who did questionable things, as well as a monk who was did his best to get everyone killed. The warriors, on the other hand, were sensible and useful. I don't doubt the general consensus. I just haven't seen much evidence of it yet. I suppose I will eventually.

It's easier to find something negative about a certain group or class when that's what you're looking for. Ever wonder why you notice all of the people driving the same car as you once you've bought one? People didn't suddenly start buying the same car as you just because you like it.

80-90% are idiots? I hardly think so. Maybe in someone's mind's eye they see it that way, but the odds are they probably don't remember all the good (or even mediocre) experiences they had, while the bad ones stand out clearly. Ok, maybe even the mediocre ones are getting lumped in as well. But our bad memories seem to color our opinion about people more than our good (or even unmemorable) ones, so keep that in mind before you hasten to make disparaging remarks.
